Welcome to Davis Commercial Law Group, LLC, founded in 2023 by seasoned attorney Stephen R. Davis. With a legal career spanning over three decades, Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the practice of commercial law. As a specialized firm exclusively focused on corporate and commercial real estate transactions, our primary mission is to serve our clients with precision and dedication. Steve works closely with his long-time legal assistant, Alli Heiser, to ensure that clients receive personalized attention and expert guidance in navigating the complexities of commercial law. At Davis Commercial Law Group, we are committed to delivering effective and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients and add value.
Steve Davis
Steve Davis's career has primarily centered on commercial real estate transactions including representation of landlords and tenants in various commercial lease negotiations. He also works with municipalities and developers on public/private partnerships and assists businesses and developers in land use issues, acquisitions, financing, and sales of commercial real estate projects. He has a background in structuring transactions, entity formation, general counsel representation, and dispute resolution.
Steve amicably left Willcox Savage, a preeminent Hampton Roads firm, after almost 30 years there where he was the Managing Partner of the firm’s Virginia Beach office and the former Chair of its commercial real estate practice.
Steve views life, and therefore the practice of law, as a calling, and is a member of Trinity Church, having previously served as the Facilitator of its Elder Board and currently serving in multiple capacities.
